DESCRIPTION

A beautiful look at the chapel over St. Xenia’s tomb, the Church of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God that St. Xenia secretly helped to build, and the Smolensk Orthodox Cemetery in northwestern St. Petersburg, where they are located. Excerpts of the Akathist and Moleben to St. Xenia, and other Divine Services are included.

 

This is a totally different approach from the earlier 10 minute video (FIREBIRD video #VR-27, St. Xenia's Tomb, Russian version; #VE-26, St. Xenia's Tomb, English version), and they are not redundant. If you are a lover of St. Xenia, you would appreciate both videos; if you must choose, this new one is better, but we don't have the English voice-over done yet.
